I am excited to endorse Karen Paul to serve in the Vermont House. Throughout her public career, Karen has advanced progress on a number of fronts that have required political courage, stamina and an ability work across differences to find common ground. Given her long service on the City Council and as its President, and because of her professional financial expertise, Karen will be able to hit the ground running.

Karen knows Montpelier well, having shown up at the Statehouse - on her own time - to establish working relationships with committee chairs and leadership to advance issues important to BTV – particularly, ensuring state funding for Burlington’s high school. In Montpelier, she will give voice to those who are often invisible, support excellence in education, and address affordability in housing and health care. We can count on Karen to work very hard for those of us in the South End in the coming session and I hope you’ll join me in voting for her on August 11th.
